CMS issues direction on tamper-resistant prescription pads requirement

A six month delay has been announced by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in their requirement for all handwritten prescriptions to be written on tamper-resistant prescription pads in order to be covered by Medicaid beginning October 1st.
